a room
and watch the audience turn to
no! The Yes-Yes camp defends
Europe like Bush defends freedom… !
Fortunately the No-No camp is not
much better, swinging between nationalism,
conservatism and anti-europeanism… and
denying it. If the No wins in the
French referendum it won’t
be because the No was good but
because the Yes-Yes are a catastrophy
for Europe. French people have
real good European but their leaders
answer socialism or France on the
one hand, and sacrifice of everything
for Europe’s sake one the
other hand. Only the Yes-But
is capable to upgrade the level
of
debate as expected by French
people, only the Yes-But responds
to the
euro-citizens questions of the
French people, only the Yes-But
is Euro-responsible . |

: Combining two dynamics !

The
privileged partnership developed between
Newropeans and the French Junior Chambers
on the occasion of the Marathon reveals
itself: two weeks ago, JCE-Pays de l’Aisne
hosted the Marathon in Soissons ; last
week both JCE-Pays Dignois and JCE-Villeneuve
welcomed two debates in Digne and Villeneuve
sur Lot ; this week, the Marathon stops
in Biarritz thanks to JCE-Pays Basque.

The Marathon’s programme
is completed as well as the panels of speakers.
In 4 weeks exactly, thanks to the 19 partner-organisations,
a Marathon of 17 conferences in 17 different
cities or localities with 3-speaker panels
every where was born, which actively involves
more than 40 people (association leaders,
academics, elected officials and militants)
and that does not count the more than 1,000
citizens who take part to the debates. A
great success and a magnificent demonstration
of Europe’s mobilisation capacity
in France!

Last Tuesday Newropeans in the
Hague
 |
Franck Biancheri, President
of Newropeans, and Bart Kruitwagen, Treasurer
of Newropeans, presented projects of future
developments of Newropeans to a group of
around 60 representatives of Dutch media,
politics and business sectors. The meeting
was hosted by Forum 2020 in The Hague on
May 10th.
