CZECH PRESIDENT SAYS HE HOPES FOR FRENCH 'NO' VOTE ON EUROPEAN CONSTITUTION
Czech President Vaclav Klaus said Thursday he hoped France would vote against the European constitution later this month.
"I am not sure what the outcome of the French referendum will be but I sincerely hope France votes against the constitution," Klaus, a eurosceptic and vocal critic of the constitution, told AFP.

Europe's eyes are currently riveted on 29th May 2005, the day when project Europe could potentially start to unravel. On that day, France will hold its referendum on the Constitutional Treaty whose authors had famously promised to bring Europe closer to its people. So far with little success.

Euro row boosts Dutch No camp
